Visible Body

There are two Visible Body databases available at the University of Jyväskylä: Muscle Premium and Anatomy & Physiology. The resources can be accessed online or by downloading a mobile app.

Using a computer

Go to Visible Body via JYKDOK (Muscle Premium or Anatomy & Physiology). If you are outside of the university network, sign in with your JYU credentials in the window that appears.
Choose the resource you want to access (Muscle Premium or Anatomy & Physiology).
Select Launch.
Wait for the software to download. This may take several minutes.

Downloading a mobile app

Go to Visible Body via JYKDOK (Muscle Premium or Anatomy & Physiology). If you are outside of the university network, sign in with your JYU credentials in the window that appears.
Choose the resource you want to access (Muscle Premium or Anatomy & Physiology).
Select Mobile Apps.
Select On Campus if your device is connected to the university network.
Select Off Campus if you are using the resources outside of the university network.

On campus
- Make sure you have signed in to the JYU network.
- Download and install the apps.
- Make sure you open your apps when you're on campus and signed in to the JYU network once every 150 days.
Off campus
- Choose the resource you want to access (Muscle Premium or Anatomy & Physiology).
- In the pop-up that appears, enter and submit your email. A "Verification Code" option appears. Leave this page open.
- Check your email for a verification code. Copy that code to your clipboard.
- Paste the code into the “Verification Code” option on the webpage and submit.
- Save the username and password provided.
- Use the link provided to download the mobile app. Launch the app. On the activation screen, enter the username and password provided.
